Cairns Indigenous Art Fair worked with the Tanks Arts Centre to develop and present the 2016 CIAF exhibition- Freedom of Expression. An exhibition showcasing artworks from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists from 4 Queensland correctional centres. An exhibition that transcends the bars, and reflects hope and survival, through cultural connection and belonging.
We were on site to document the night and record interviews with attendees. The short video clip was then presented to the artists.
